Zero Tolerance Spam Policy:
What is spamming?
Spamming is the sending of an unsolicited e-mail, generally an ad of some sort, to anyone who has not specifically requested email from you. Spamming is both prohibited in the Pro-Response User Agreement, and illegal under United States law. Pro-Response's no-spam policy is strictly enforced. If you use your Pro-Response Autoresponder account or affiliate membership to send e-mail to people who haven't asked for it, then you are spamming, and your Pro-Response account will be shut down.
What is the Pro-Response's position on spam?
Using Pro-Response accounts or affiliate memberships to send spam is both prohibited in the Pro-Response User Agreement, and illegal under United States law. Pro-Response's no-spam policy is strictly enforced. If you use your Pro-Response Autoresponder account or affiliate membership to send e-mail to people who haven't asked for it, then you are spamming, and your Pro-Response account will be shut down.

Can I advertise my Pro-Response e-mail address on an FFA site?
Many businesses like to advertise their web site URLs through FFA (Free For All) links sites. However, submitting your Pro-Response e-mail address with your URL is spamming!
FFA sites post only your web site address, not your e-mail address. They only request your e-mail address in order to e-mail you personally. If you submit your Pro-Response e-mail address, when an FFA site owner sends you his initial welcome e-mail, he will be added to your Pro-Response autoresponder as a lead. He will subsequently receive e-mail from you through the Pro-Response Autoresponse system. However, he never asked to be added to your list of leads or to receive e-mail from you. This means that any e-mail your Pro-Response Autoresponder sends to him is spam.
What are some common spamming mistakes that Pro-Response customers make?
- Some customers receive an unsolicited e-mail from Company A, and retaliate by adding Company A to their Pro-Response lead list. The e-mail that Company A will receive from these customers via Pro-Response is spam. Just because someone spams you does not mean it is okay to spam them back!
- Some customers submit their Pro-Response e-mail address to Free For All links pages along with their URL. The FFA page owners will send e-mail to those Pro-Response addresses in order to confirm the URL postings, and by doing so will add themselves to the customers' Pro-Response leads lists. The e-mail that the FFA site owners will later receive from those customers via Pro-Response is spam.
- Subscribing to mailing lists with an Pro-Response e-mail address is spamming. This will add anyone who sends e-mail to the mailing list to the customer's Pro-Response leads list. Any e-mail that the posters later receive from these customers via Pro-Response is spam.
- Subscribing to e-zines or newsletters with an Pro-Response e-mail address is spamming. This will add the e-zine's editors to the customer's Pro-Response leads list. Any e-mail the editors later receive from the customer via Pro-Response is spam.
Using Pro-Response accounts or affiliate memberships to send spam is both prohibited in the Pro-Response User Agreement, and illegal.
Pro-Response's no-spam policy is strictly enforced. If you use your Pro-Response Autoresponder account or affiliate membership to send e-mail to people who haven't asked for it, then you are spamming, and your Pro-Response account will be shut down.
Can I post ads to newsgroups?
Posting the same message to numerous newsgroups, or posting off topic messages to any newsgroup is spamming. You may not post your Pro-Response ad to newsgroups unless that ad is specifically on-topic, as determined by Pro-Response.
Pro-Response's no-spam policy is strictly enforced. If you send or post spam related to your Pro-Response account, then that account will be terminated
