It’s hard to believe the year is coming to an end. The holidays are in full swing and it’s a time to celebrate and share good tidings and cheer. As the new year draws near it’s also a time many of us reflect on the year and think about where we’ve been and perhaps where we want to go from here. Here at Pro Response, we’d like to share with you a recap of our year and the excitement we feel moving into 2020.
2019 was quite the year here at Pro Response! We expanded to a new corporate office space in Southlake, TX, hired two new mitigation managers, nearly doubled the number of projects performed from 2018, and just recently experienced the tornado here in Dallas. This year has been a year full of amazing growth along with difficult challenges.
Our highlight experience was establishing and moving into a new Corporate headquarters in Southlake. We were excited for the opportunity to reach more customers and to have a new corporate home. Two weeks into our move, a heck of a storm rolled in and our space ended up flooded! No better office to flood than ours we suppose!
Either way, we experienced firsthand the difficulties of having a major water damage event right here at our office. We went through those painful days of drying and weeks of repairs. Honestly, it was a very humbling event. Every day we are busy at work in the area, answering calls for those experiencing a disaster. The experience of this flood struck a personal chord with us and gave us even more perspective on the work and services we provide.
Those weeks taught us a lot. It truly felt like life at our home base had been flipped upside down and even simple tasks felt impossible to accomplish due to the interruption caused by the damages. The inconveniences, especially in working with our partnering contractors, really tested our patience. And let’s talk about the roar of those dryers…wow, those things can really be annoying when they are everywhere you turn! Most of all, we learned that no matter the circumstances a water loss is difficult, unexpected, and can be very stressful.
After our experience, we can officially say WE UNDERSTAND, and we will do everything in our power to make things just a little easier, a little simpler, and a LOT less stressful. When it comes to any disaster, we want to be your trusted source for the fastest response time, the fastest drying time, and the fastest repairs possible. We know how hard it can be. We are working harder than ever to provide the best possible service for our customers. Truly, we want this to be the best BAD experience you’ve ever had! Pun intended of course!
